The Solar Decathlon Europe | Tender ENER/C2/2016-502 | 2016 – 2020 was launched with the support of the European Commission to collect data on projects dealing with smart cities and buildings. The final objective of the tender is to ensure constant and high quality support to the Market Place of the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC) and the Solar Decathlon Europe (SDE) initiative.

A consortium of former Solar Decathlon Europe organizers, coordinated by PNO Consultants, has consolidated the results of the SDE competition event, which has been held four times to date in Europe. In a series of four thematic reports, the quintessential elements that are of relevance to European partners were distilled. With fact sheets targeted to specific audiences (youth, academia, professionals, industry, policy and government leaders, and the public at large) the team has created a portfolio of documents that showcase the actions, impact and importance of the Solar Decathlon Europe competition. The SDE has inspired millions through its unique combination of youthful enthusiasm, vigorous competition and innovative technological solutions to real-world challenges. The Final Technical Report can be found via the button below.
