The PNO Group, the holding company of which EGEN is part, has expanded its activities to Portugal. As one of the European frontrunners in the area of renewable energy, Portugal is an attractive market for EGEN’s specialists, as they focus on accelerating green innovation.

Ranking the 31st place among 132 economies featured in the Global Innovation Index 2021, being an active participant in EU funding programs and a European pioneer in renewable energy, Portugal offers many opportunities for a consultancy company such as EGEN to assist organizations with support and advice. Portugal’s innovation rate has increased remarkably over the past decade and in 2019 Portugal was included for the first time in the group of “strong innovators” in the European Innovation Scoreboard. Within the PNO Group, EGEN is keen to work with the vibrant innovation ecosystem in Portugal and link it to its extensive European network, towards further boosting the country’s green innovation potential. It will do so from its new offices in Lisbon and Porto.
